Start with the light

Before choosing a plant, notice how sunlight moves through your space. Match the plant’s light requirements to the spot you have in mind.

Check the soil before you water, and use containers with drainage. A fixed watering schedule does not suit every plant or season.

New plants need time to adjust. Start with a suitable position and observe changes before moving or repotting them again.
